DNA Testing Accuracy & Limitations
Juniper Pines Poultry Lab uses validated methods and careful laboratory practices to provide clear, reliable DNA results. While we strive for accuracy, no biological test is 100% error‑proof. Results depend heavily on the quality of the sample you provide and the condition it arrives in.
By submitting a sample, you acknowledge that:
- We are not responsible for inaccurate results caused by poor, contaminated, or insufficient samples, or by damage during shipping.
- Rare testing errors can occur, as with any laboratory process.
- Results represent our best scientific interpretation of the sample received.
- Juniper Pines Poultry Lab is not liable for decisions made based on DNA results, including breeding, sales, or flock management choices.
Our goal is always clarity and accuracy — but biology has a sense of humor, and we want expectations to be fair and realistic for everyone.
Poultry Sales Terms
At Juniper Pines Poultry Lab, we raise our birds with care and pride, and we want every customer to feel confident bringing them home. That said, once your birds leave our hands, their health and success depend on the environment, feed, and care you provide.
- Health & Care: We do everything possible to raise strong, healthy poultry, but we cannot guarantee future health, productivity, or lifespan once birds are in your care.
- Egg Production: Laying rates are averages—individual results vary based on diet, housing, and climate.
- Egg Hatching: Hatching eggs are always a gamble. We send high‑quality fertile eggs, but we cannot offer refunds or replacements for low hatch rates due to shipping stress or incubation variables. Please understand the risk before ordering.
- Breed & Sexing: We work hard to accurately identify breeds and sexes, but occasional errors can happen. Buyers accept this small risk when purchasing. If something seems off, reach out — we’ll work with you to make it right.
- Biosecurity: For the safety of our flock, we do not allow on‑farm visits. Birds are delivered to agreed‑upon pickup locations, and responsibility for their care begins at transfer.
- Responsibility: By purchasing from Juniper Pines Poultry Lab, you agree to provide proper housing, feed, and protection for your birds.
